Student Profiles

Constantin is a curious and open-minded student, with a particular drive for supporting his community. He is an active member of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, a group dedicated to restoring infrastructure after disasters.

At school, Constantin enjoys studying the sciences, and hopes to continue his study of these at university.
During his spare time, he enjoys reading, especially adventure and fantasy books.
Constantin also likes to keep active, often riding his bike or going swimming.

Karen is an outgoing and friendly student from Iceland. She is really excited to come to New Zealand and meet new people and experience our Kiwi culture.
Karen is very interested in dancing and singing and is a passionate performer with a love of music and theatre. She enjoys exploring the outdoors and skiing in the winter. She is dedicated to her studies, even receiving an award for her exceptional abilities in the Icelandic language.
Karen also loves to cook and try new foods – she would love to share some of her favourite dishes with you!

Lara is a responsible, cheerful person who is dedicated to schoolwork and dance.
She has a passion for ballet, practicing 4 times each week. Friends and family are important to her, and she enjoys a close relationship with her parents. Although she hasn’t decided what to study at university, she’s interested in humanities.
Lara is excited to learn about a new culture, meet new people, and discover New Zealand traditions.

Alice has a strong interest in Formula 1, and writes about this in her school newspaper. Alice enjoys participating in all kinds of sports to keep active, especially running. At school she enjoys studying the sciences.
Alice is excited to come to New Zealand to improve her English, meet new people, and learn from them.

Adele is an open and positive person, who loves swimming, music, and photography. She has a professional camera that she likes to take with her when she travels to capture the best photos.
She is a motivated student who studies hard. Adele loves sports and has practiced many over the years including skating, karate, and swimming.

Federico’s passion is all kinds of sport, especially athletics! He is a keen runner with a focus on the 400m. He loves to stay active, working out 5 times per week.
At school he is a dedicated student who shows a natural curiosity to learn, and likes to explore new topics. His favourite subject is chemistry.
When he’s not at school or participating in sports, Federico enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, or playing his guitar.
