Basile from France


Basile is a deep thinker with a keen interest in what is going on in the world. He likes to keep an open mind and is looking forward to immersing himself in a different culture. Basile loves to cook, play strategy games and his favourite sports are jiu-jitsu and wrestling.

Eva is cheerful and outgoing and spends lots of time with family and friends. She enjoys reading and dance. She also loves travelling, learning about new cultures and trying new food.
Eva is a hard worker and likes to do well at school. She’s hoping to become a teacher when she’s older.

Manuel is a bright student, always ready to embrace life and learning. He has a close family who enjoy time together.

Prasanthi from India

Prasanthi is outgoing, adventurous. She’s from Tamil Nadu, a highly developed and urbanised state in the South East of India, and she dreams of exploring every corner of the world.
She enjoys sport, particularly badminton and basketball. Her family and friends describe her as kind and loyal.
Prasanthi does not eat beef for religious reasons and has an allergy to shellfish.

Eileen from France

Eileen is fun, sociable and curious – she’s always up for learning new things!
Eileen is a talented musician. She has played the violin since she was seven years old, and she has taught herself to play the guitar. She enjoys being part of her school band.
Eileen is a also a competitive swimmer, participates in a first aid group, an anti-bullying group and tutors a younger student at school.
Eileen is a little wary of large dogs, but she’s happy to live in a home with other pets.

Prabhnoor from India

Prabhnoor is a well-travelled and conscientious student. At school, he especially enjoys scientific and analytical subjects. He comes from a hard-working and tight-knit family, who enjoy doing activities together. Their home is a large, vibrant city in central India.
Prabhnoor is a foodie and enjoys cooking and trying new foods. For religious reasons he does not eat beef or pork.
