To apply for a Ministry of Education Student Language Immersion Award click on Apply online to start the process selecting Language Immersion Award application or you email prue.elwood@afs.org giving your full name, school, email address you will be completing the application with and date of birth (please put LIA student application into the subject line), you will then be sent a log-on and password to the on-line application system, there are instructions within the application so please read and follow these carefully. All documentation must be filled in on-line and copies of reports, results and other documentation scanned and loaded into the application. If also applying for an AFS programme, you must complete separate applications for each. Where documents can be used for both you must load onto each application as we do not transfer documents for you from one to the other applications.
There are 15 awards available for travel in 2011 and are language based not country preferences.
All applications MUST be received on or before 28 May 2010 to be considered, no late applications will be considered. Make sure you submit your application before this date.
