ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

The New Zealand Post Group offers up to two scholarships each year for the children of  employees in New Zealand Post Group companies who are keen to take up the challenge of living and studying abroad on an AFS exchange. The scholarships fund the exchange programme fee for each of the selected students of Post Group parents.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

• Any child of a New Zealand Post Group company employee who attends secondary school at the time of application and meets the AFS application guidelines

• This scholarship is mainly available for students participating in the year programme, however applications for the semester or intensive programme may be considered

• Employees’ children from the following New Zealand Post Group companies are eligible to apply:

New Zealand Post has been working in partnership with AFS NZ since 1994 and in this time has sponsored 24 students to take up the challenge to live and study overseas for one year.

I was fortunate enough in December, to celebrate the occasion at a local restaurant as part of a ‘surprise’ party planned by my host mother and local friends.”
