1/12/2008 - Wellington Santa Parade Goes International

AFS hosted students, volunteers and staff representing over 11 countries including Colombia, Italy and Denmark participated in the 2008 Tip Top Santa Parade. Coming from as far as the Hawkes Bay and the far North students came to represent AFS with flags, banners, national costumes and loads of enthusiasm. Calls could be heard from the massive crowd of more than 50,000 called out when spectators recognised their own native countries. A BIG thank you to everyone who came out to support AFS.
