30/3/2009 - Top honors for AFS returnee

Brittany Challis, a recipient of a Ministry of Education language Immersion Award to Belgium, has also won a New Zealand Qualification Authority top subject outstanding scholarship award for French. Brittany said that her parents took her to French lessons when she was a child and she also took the subject all through secondary school but what really helped her was her six month exchange to Belgium. AFS would like to congratulate Brittany on receiving this award.
