Volunteering in NZ

Do your bit for your community and the world

Become an AFS volunteer

Volunteers, young and old, are the lifeblood of AFS. Being a volunteer is fun and satisfying. You’ll make friendships that last a lifetime.

We have plenty of roles depending on your skills and the time you have available.  You can help out at your local AFS chapter, welcome new arrivals, support host families or talk in a local school. Whatever your talents, we’ll put them to use.  The main qualification is your energy and enthusiasm.

We always need more volunteers. So join our international family of 30,000 volunteers in 50 countries. AFS volunteers come from all walks of life, share a spirit of adventure and a desire to make the world a better place.

If that sounds like you, give us a call.  We’d love to hear from you.
