Li-Ann describes herself as an outgoing, kind-hearted, loving and helpful person. She loves to meet new people and to learn more about them. In her spare time she enjoys painting and sewing, Li-Ann makes handmade gifts for her family and friends. She also enjoys playing badminton and table tennis with her friends. Li-Ann is also very fond of animals and her family has 5 dogs in their home. She would like to be a veterinarian one day and own a farm with many animals. Li-Ann hopes that an AFS experience make her more independent and confident and also give her the opportunity to live overseas and experience a new culture.

Once a week she also attends a cooking class. In the future she would like to get into the hospitality industry with the aim of becoming an Air Stewardess so she can get to see the world.
